The Parkinson’s Support Group will meet on Monday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. at Jefferson Community Health Center’s Downtown Meeting Room, 512 C St.
The program will be “Think BIG, Move BIG,” by Danielle Dailey, OTR/L, CLT. Dailey is an occupational therapist with Jefferson Community Health Center’s Rehab and Sports Clinic. LSVT BIG is a physical/occupational therapy program which can be very beneficial to those who have Parkinson’s Disease.
The Parkinson’s Support Group meets on the second Monday of each month. During JCHC’s renovation project, meetings will be held at JCHC’s downtown meeting room.
The group is designed to provide an opportunity for area residents to share their experiences with Parkinson’s disease. There is no cost for participants.
