FAIRBURY – Bethany Berg PA-C is pleased to be putting her medical training to work at the Fairbury Clinic PC.
Berg, who graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center as a PA in December, said Fairbury was a great fit for her for many reasons. She knew she wanted to be involved in a Family Medicine clinic, and the Fairbury Clinic has four Family Medicine Board Certified physicians and two other PAs. When she visited, she liked the clinic, its operations and its physicians and staff. She could see that the physicians have faith in their PAs, and entrust them with their patients’ care.
“Everyone has been great,” Berg said.
Fairbury is also a good location to be close to both her family in the Lewiston area, and her husband’s family in the Syracuse area.
She is also very comfortable with a rural area, since she grew up near a small rural community on a farm. She enjoyed the cattle they raised and helping on the farm with her sisters.
At an early age Berg knew she wanted to be in the medical field. It was a college classmate who introduced her to the PA program.
She is a graduate of Lewiston Consolidated High School, participating in volleyball, golf, quizbowl and FCCLA. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Wayne State College, and is a graduate of the PA program at UNMC.
Berg and her husband, Landon, who is a physical therapy student at UNMC, have purchased a home in Fairbury.
The Fairbury Clinic P.C. offers a full range of care in Family Medicine by four board-certified Family Medicine physicians and three PA-Cs. Appointments can be made by calling the Fairbury Clinic at (402) 729-3361.
