FAIRBURY – The 10th annual Run, Row, Rock and Roll Adventure Race, held Saturday, June 14, was a successful event.
“The race once again proved to be very challenging but fun,” said Craig Bontrager, director of the Bob and Wauneta Burkley Wellness Center.
Most of this year’s race was located in the Rock Creek Station area in Jefferson County with many local farmers in the area allowing the use of their land for the race and its challenges.
The 11 registered short course teams had 6 hours to complete the course, getting as many check points completed as possible in that time frame. A total of 12 teams registered for the long course.
“Thanks again to all of our wonderful volunteers, sponsors, land owners, participants and Angry Cow Adventures for helping make this race possible,” Bontrager said.
